[Smite 2] IT'S TIME... FOR CHRONOS!

New Classic God: Chronos

  • Passive: Time Lord

  • You become empowered as time flows around you. Over time you gain Intelligence. Stacks have a maximum and are permanent. 

 

  • Ability 1: Time Rift

  • Create a rift in time that deals magical damage to all enemies in the area. Hitting a god permanently increases the Time Rift damage by 1. 

 

  • Ability 2: Accelerate

  • Accelerate yourself for a duration. You gain Movement Speed (initial plus increasing over time) and increased Attack Speed. While Accelerate is active, the Wheel of Time stops; the quadrant it stopped on determines which bonus you receive:

  • Section 1: Heal based on your max health over time

  • Section 2: Abilities cost no Mana

  • Section 3: Increased Intelligence

  • Section 4: Increased Intelligence contribution to your attacks.

 

  • Ability 3: Stop Time

  • Fire spinning gears of time forward. Enemies hit have their Attack Speed reduced, ramping into a Stun. They Take Magical Damage on impact and Magical Damage when Stunned. 

  

  • Ultimate Ability: Teleport through time to a recent position, restoring your Health and mana to their earlier values. All your cooldowns reset instantly. 

  • You become CC immune while Rewin prepares

  • The Heal is not affected by Healing Reduction

 

  • Aspect of Relativity releasing July 2nd

  • Time Lord no longer grants Intelligence but instead creates a persistent Time Field around you. Allies in your Time Field gain bonuses when you use your other abilities.

  • Increased Damage Mitigation vs damage sources outside of The Pit +50% -> +66%

  • Fixed an issue where overkill damage was being factored in to Totem kill credit

  • Lane Minions

    • Pushed up the start time when Lane Minion strength vs Towers begins increasing from 25min to 20min

    • Brute Minions (stronger Melees that begin spawning later in the game) now use a different character model than normal Melee Minions

  • Lane Minion Damage Mitigation

    • Lane Minion Damage Mitigation now mitigates more ability damage than attack damage. Minions also no longer have this Damage Mitigation for the first 3min

    • Previously:

    • Minions had 1.75% base Damage Mitigation that scaled by +1.75% every 3 minutes (max. 19.25%)

    • Minotaurs gain an additional +3.25% Damage Mitigation per 3min from Magical Damage sources (max. 50%)

  • Now:

    • Minions no longer have base Damage Mitigation on wave 1, but still gain Damage Mitigation every 3 minutes

    • Their Damage Mitigation is now split by damage source:

    • Vs Attack Damage

    • +1.4% Damage Mitigation (max. 14%)

  • Vs Ability/Item Damage

    • +2.5% Damage Mitigation (max. 25%)

  • Minotaurs gain an additional +2.5% Ability/Item Damage Mitigation per 3min (max. 50%)

      

    God Balance

    • Cat Call

    • Cat Dash damage reduced from 60/95/130/165/200 + 50% Strength to 40/65/90/115/140 + 50% Strength

    • Cat Dash slow reduced from 20/25/30/35/40% to 12/14/16/18/20%

     Base Stat Changes

    • All Gods level 1 basic attack damage is reduced by 20%, across the board. This brings base basic attack damage more in-line with SMITE 1. It still scales as it did before.

      

    • Base Health has been adjusted to have a bigger gap between Gods associated with different traditional roles. Additionally some Gods had some Protections adjusted:

  • Addressed issue with Horus Ult not Teleporting if it times out and targeter is invalid

  • Allow Bastet A01 to cancel after first leap for early cooldown start; and no return leap

  • Address interaction with Awilix A04 not properly stopping Bastet A01 refire window from opening

  • Fixed an issue where Xbalanque Ult could cause Towers to drop their targets
